* This role involves delivering high-quality pharmacy services to both retail customers and hospital patients, focusing on conducting medication history interviews, medication reconciliation and pharmaceutical reviews at transfers of care.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient dispensing and distribution of medication, conducting therapeutic drug monitoring, monitor medication outcomes and adverse drug reaction management.
* In addition, the pharmacist will provide medication counselling and education to patients, work cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams and provide advice about patient care.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in participating in quality improvement initiatives such as projects, audits, working groups or committees, considering financial implications of medication use in hospital and community settings.
About the Ideal Candidate
* The pharmacist should be registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA) with no restrictions on practice.
* A permanent Australian working visa is required.
* The candidate should have a minimum 1-year experience practicing as an Australian Pharmacist.
* Personal Indemnity insurance is mandatory.
