About the role We are seeking an experienced Cost Recovery Specialist to join our Commonwealth Government client.
The successful candidate will develop and implement a cost recovery implementation statement to support key reforms, while also contributing to team leadership and managing project finances, including branch and group reporting.
An initial 12-month labour hire contract is on offer, with the possibility of a 3-month extension.
The role is based in Canberra, ACT with flexible working arrangements considered on a case-by-case basis.
Please note: only Australian citizens with a minimum Baseline security clearance can be considered for this role.
Duties: Developing and implementing a cost recovery implementation statement (CRIS) to support regulatory reforms, including: Leading CRIS development for affected commodities.
Researching and consulting internally and externally on cost recovery arrangements.
Providing clear financial analysis advice to support decision?
making.
Developing detailed processes for estimating and explaining cost recovery activities.
Reviewing consultation feedback and updating materials as required.
Finalising cost recovery arrangements and working with corporate teams to support charging implementation.
Preparing or facilitating executive status reporting on progress, deliverables, and risks.
Contributing to team leadership and the broader reform agenda, including supporting other team members.
Managing project finances, including branch and group reporting Requisite skills/experience: Demonstrated finance and cost recovery experience Ability to rapidly interpret priorities and respond effectively to changing requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
