McLean Farms is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes southwest of Toowoomba. Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved in a broad range of agricultural enterprises including grain, feed mill, compost, poultry, and transport operations.
We are currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team in a full-time, site-based role. This position is based on site five (5) days per week and is ideal for someone looking to apply their technical expertise in a practical, operational environment outside of a traditional corporate setting.
About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst with strong SQL and Power BI capability to work closely with operational leaders across the business. You will play a key role in strengthening data integrity, reporting capability, and system improvements that directly support operational performance.
Daily Duties Will Include But Not Be Limited To
Work collaboratively with business stakeholders and the data team to deliver high-quality reporting and insightsLead conversations around best-practice data management and reporting standardsSupport and enhance data collection, management and governance processesAssist in the development and implementation of data analysis strategies to optimise efficiency and qualityMaintain and enhance central SQL repositories and automation toolsDevelop reports, dashboards and visualisations using the Power BI toolsetWork across data analysis, design and development initiativesDrive adoption and effective use of reporting and analytics tools across the businessInvestigate data issues, conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutionsSupport system enhancements and continuous improvement initiativesReview data-sharing protocols to ensure compliance and integrity standards are metEnsure overall data integrity and reliability across reporting platforms
Only Candidates With The Following Skills Should Apply
Minimum 5 years' hands on experience working with SQL (essential)Demonstrated experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BIExperience maintaining and managing SQL repositoriesStrong data analysis and data collection capabilityExperience working in a reporting-focused roleAbility to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a small team environment and operate autonomouslyExperience with data warehousing and ETL processes (ideal but not essential)
