DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced
Senior Systems Engineer
to join our federal Government Client team.
Role responsibilities
* Configure and support hybrid Exchange environments, ensuring smooth integration between on-premises and cloud-based services.
* Troubleshoot Exchange-related issues
,
identify root causes, and implement effective, long-term solutions.
* Leverage PowerShell scripting to automate administrative tasks, manage user accounts, and streamline operations.
* Develop and maintain scripts to generate reports and support ongoing system performance and reliability.
Skills
* Supporting, patching and upgrading Exchange servers.
* Delivering expert support and advice for Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange environments.
* Automating tasks and streamlining implementations using PowerShell scripting.
* Collaborating with technical teams to integrate Microsoft 365 with existing infrastructure.
* 5+ years of experience in a MS Exchange role.
* Strong understanding of IT service management principles, including incident, problem, change, and request management.
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools
* Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues to maintain optimal system performance.
Technical skills
* Microsoft Certified: Exchange Online Administrator Associate.
* Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
* Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
