Do you love working with fresh food?
We're looking for a Department Assistant with food handling experience (desired) and available to work weekends to help drive our Deli Department to the next level.

What You'll Do
* Greet and serve customers in a friendly, professional manner.
* Assist customers with product selection, portion sizes, and recommendations.
* Oversee fresh food stock, including meat, cheese, antipasti, and prepared meals.
* Ensure perfect product presentation and rotation to maintain freshness and quality.
* Help drive sales, manage inventory, and support operational excellence.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, OHS, and company policies.

What We're Looking For
* Experience in a deli, food retail, or fresh food environment.
* Passion for fresh food and a genuine customer-first approach.
* Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* Tech-savvy with POS systems and Microsoft Office (desired).
