Job Title: People and Culture Business Partner - A Strategic HR Role

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled People and Culture Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will provide specialist human resource support and advice on a day-to-day basis to our organisation.

The ideal candidate will be a trusted strategic advisor to Executive Leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and people needs. You will translate business requirements into actionable HR strategies, focusing on talent management, workforce planning and organisational development.

This is a temporary contract supporting maternity leave relief for 12 months.

Main Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic HR leadership, supporting department heads with day-to-day strategic advice and support.
- Oversee employee engagement & wellbeing, including inductions and providing guidance and coaching to senior leaders on HR matters.
- Champion organisational mission and values, participating in change management activities.
- Collaborate on strategic planning initiatives with the P&C team and recommend improvements in practices.

Key Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience in providing people and culture advice and coaching to people at various levels of an organisation.
- Experience in issues management and investigations, including implementing solutions to resolve conflict and underperformance issues.
- Evidence of contribution to the development and implementation of best practice generalist HR policies and procedures.
- Hands-on experience in developing contemporary people-focused solutions.
- Knowledge of Fair Work Australia industrial relations laws and framework.
- Understanding of Workers' Compensation and Injury Management regulations.
- Experience using HRIS and CRM software.
- Demonstrated flexibility to work as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in Human Resources.
- Experience in disability or Allied Health environment (desirable).
