We are seeking a dedicated, qualified Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care and support to our residents at Zion Gympie Home Care, in alignment with Lutheran Services' policies and procedures.
*** Please note this is a 12 month full time fixed term contract from 07/04/2025 to 07/04/2026 (76 hours per fortnight), with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. There is potential for transition to permanent full-time employment upon completion of the contract. ***
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
2. Relevant Nursing Qualification, such as a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
3. Previous Experience in aged care, home care, or a similar healthcare setting (preferred).
4. Comprehensive Knowledge of clinical care standards, aged care legislation, and best practices in home care.
5. Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to effectively engage with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
6. Commitment to Person-Centered Care, ensuring the dignity, safety, and well-being of residents.
7. Current First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
8. Valid Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
