We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Wellbeing & Support Services team. This is an 18-month fixed-term, part-time (0.6 FTE) position responsible for managing a Randomised Control Trial evaluating the efficacy of Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to prevent Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in AV first responders. While WFH/hybrid options are available, the successful candidate must maintain a presence at our Doncaster headquarters in accordance with our hybrid working model.
About The Role
Reporting to the Principal Psychologist, this role will manage the RCT project using the AV Project Management Framework, ensuring adherence to time, budget, compliance, and quality objectives. Responsibilities include:
* Managing daily operations of the project, including protocol adherence and reporting
* Developing risk assessments and contingency plans aligned with AV frameworks
* Overseeing the Mental Health and Wellbeing Action Plan, Annual Plan, and related deliverables
* Implementing strategies within budget and time constraints
* Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* A postgraduate degree or relevant project management certification (or progress towards), preferably PRINCE2, or a postgraduate qualification in an Allied Health field, Nursing, or related research experience
* Experience in program/project management and research methodologies, including complex project implementation
* Experience in overseeing RCTs (highly desirable)
* Experience in mental health research design, data analysis, and project completion (highly desirable)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical software
* Strong conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking skills with data management capabilities
* Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for high-quality reporting and documentation
