L2D is a boutique architectural practice with a specialist focus on the design of controlled environments and research architecture. The role
Reporting directly to the Director and Associates, you will take a leading role in delivering projects that require both design excellence and technical rigour. This is a hands‑on role for an architect who are interested in managing medium to large scale projects end‑to‑end, from concept through to construction, across diverse sectors including research facilities, pharmaceutical production, and advanced manufacturing.
You will work closely with our senior team to build strong client relationships and deliver outcomes of the highest standard. Key responsibilities
- Deliver design and technical solutions tailored to highly specialised research and technology environments.
- Manage day‑to‑day project operations, including site and contract administration.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously, from initial brief to final delivery.
- Lead and collaborate within cohesive teams to achieve outstanding results.
About you
- Degree‑qualified Architect with 5–10 years’ experience, or more if aligned with laboratory planning.
- Proven ability to manage full project lifecycles from conception to site completion.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Revitzo, Microsoft Office Suite, and InDesign.
- Appropriate business acumen and ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to client management and team collaboration.
- Must be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia.
- Willingness to travel for national and international projects.
- Background in life sciences and technology industries (a bonus).
