Regional NSW | Utility-Scale Solar | Monday–Friday
We're on the hunt for a Site Manager to oversee the operation of a utility-scale solar farm in regional NSW.
You'll help coordinate daily operations, maintain high plant availability, and ensure safety and compliance standards are consistently met across the site.
You'll work closely with site technicians, electricians, engineers and subcontractors to keep the plant running at peak performance while maintaining a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a utility-scale solar farm
* Coordinate site technicians, electricians and contractors to maintain plant availability and performance
* Monitor plant performance and assist with troubleshooting across inverters, SCADA systems and electrical infrastructure
* Assist with SCADA monitoring and reporting to identify performance losses and operational issues
* Support coordination with external stakeholders including network operators and technical service providers
* Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all site activities
* Lead daily pre-starts and contribute to toolbox talks and safety briefings
* Support site inspections, safety audits and incident reporting
* Liaise with subcontractors across specialist services such as HV switching, vegetation management, thermography and site compliance
* Support communication with key project stakeholders and service providers
* Assist with operational reporting and documentation required for asset performance and compliance
About You
* Experience working on utility-scale solar farms or renewable energy assets in an operations or site supervision capacity
* Electrical trade background or strong technical understanding of solar PV systems
* Familiarity with SCADA platforms and inverter technologies used in large-scale solar plants
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate site teams and subcontractors
* Comfortable working in a regional site-based role
