Job Summary
The E&I Supervisor is responsible for planning and conducting work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, adaptation, and modification of standard techniques, guidelines, procedures, and criteria. Devising new approaches to startup, maintenance, operation, or testing.
This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensures that Bechtel and local/national safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with within assigned area of responsibility.
* Ensures the Zero Accident Philosophy is incorporated into every aspect of Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning /Start up activities.
* Receives operational surveillance, administrative supervision and technical guidance from an CSU Electrical Lead or Pre-Commissioning Manager.
* Establishes and maintains contacts with client, supplier, regulatory bodies, project management, engineering, and field personnel.
* Represents startup on project teams as assigned.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will require:
* A bachelor's degree (or international equivalent).
* 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
* Technical knowledge of startup, operation, maintenance, and testing.
* Knowledge of engineering systems and calculations, applications of both engineering and startup methods, and application of computers to engineering problems.
