About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a junior Lawyer to join our Commercial Litigation team in Melbourne on a permanent, full-time basis.
Working directly with a Partner who has a passion for training and mentorship, this hands-on role will see you working alongside other lawyers in the broader litigation team on a variety of matters involving commercial litigation and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on corporate reconstruction and insolvency, personal insolvency, property and leasing disputes, contractual breaches, franchising, defamation law and Corporations Act matters.
Working for a range of high net worth individuals and leading Australian businesses, this is a truly mixed role, with approximately half of your workload in commercial litigation and dispute resolution and the other half in insolvency.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ PAE, with a genuine passion and interest in the areas of commercial litigation, dispute resolution and insolvency. Your previous experience will include some exposure to advocacy work and you will have a keen desire to continue developing this skill.
Our clients are at the heart of all that we do, so we are looking for a candidate who demonstrates a strong client service focus and a commercial approach to all dealings.
