Job Description About the Client Our client is a prominent federal government department delivering essential services and strategic initiatives across Australia. About the Role We’re seeking a Corporate Support Officer (CSO) to provide high-level executive and administrative support across multiple business areas. This Canberra-based role is cross-functional, involving administration, communications, compliance, data management, and corporate services. The successful candidate will play a key role in reducing operational friction and enabling strategic focus across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Draft, edit, review, and distribute internal communications Manage correspondence with clients, stakeholders, and partners Coordinate cross-divisional projects and maintain timelines Support corporate events and presentations Maintain accurate databases and data lists Monitor and update corporate policies and procedures Assist internal audits and regulatory documentation Prepare management reports on KPIs and operational metrics Collate data and create slide decks for senior presentations The Successful Candidate You’ll be a proactive and organised professional with a strong sense of discretion and a knack for problem-solving. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively will be key to your success in this role. Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT Contract terms: 12 months from commencement date, plus x2 12-month potential extensions SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4-5. Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
