Are you passionate about aquatic education and ready to lead a dynamic team in a thriving swim school environment? We're seeking a motivated and experienced Work Group Officer – Learn to Swim to support and oversee our dedicated instructors as we continue to grow our swim school.
About the Role
As the Work Group Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Learn to Swim program. You'll be responsible for mentoring staff, maintaining high instructional standards, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for students of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of Learn to Swim instructors
Coordinate staff schedules, training, and performance reviews
Ensure compliance with safety standards and program guidelines
Monitor student progress and support continuous improvement
Collaborate with management to enhance program delivery and growth
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in swim instruction or in aquatic programming
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to motivate and mentor staff
Knowledge of swim teaching frameworks and safety protocols
Relevant qualifications or willing to obtain (e.g., AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia Teacher, CPR)
