You will work as part of a team across all wards including Paediatrics, Medical, ICU, CCU, Emergency, Oncology, Special Care Nursery, Maternity, and Rehabilitation. Your key responsibilities include liaising and building effective relationships with various stakeholders within the hospital, collecting samples with care, and maintaining meticulous records for every patient and sample.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Pathology Collector with excellent liaison and communication skills, a high level of empathy, and a patient-centered approach. You should be organized, detail-oriented, and hold a working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain one. Additionally, you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work, and provide evidence of vaccine-preventable disease vaccination.
