The Counter Sales / Warehouse Operator isaFull-timeposition, based atAlexandria, NSW. Reporting tothe Store Manageryou Will join our Gyprock Trade Centre and assist with customer service, sales, and warehouse duties as needed.
In this role you will:
* Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers (walk in, email and phone)
* To assist in the day-to-day activities within the storeand within the warehouse.
* Processing orders, invoices and payments
* Maintaining high standards of displays and merchandising in our store.
Your standard working hours are Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 2:00 pm, totalling a 38-hour week, with any additional hours worked beyond 38 paid at overtime rates (including Saturdays).
About you:
* Experience in customer service or trade counter sales
* Warehouse/forklift experience and a licence would be advantageous
* Ability to handle sales transactions, process orders, and manage stock inquiries
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and basic computer skills
* Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved)
* A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment
* A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential
