Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and evaluate midwifery education programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
* Lead research initiatives in midwifery, including project development, grant writing, and collaboration with industry partners
* Contribute to the development of curriculum, course materials, and assessment strategies
* Mentor and supervise academic staff, including PhD students and early career researchers
* Engage in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for midwifery education programs
Requirements:
* Doctoral degree in a relevant health discipline (e.g., midwifery, nursing, health science)
* Extensive teaching, research, and leadership experience in midwifery or a related field
* Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals, with evidence of impact on midwifery practice and policy
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Registration as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
