Falken Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and qualified Site Construction Supervisor to join our growing company on a full time basis. This role is critical in ensuring that the projects comply with Australian building standards, regulations, and safety requirements. The successful candidate will coordinate site operations, supervise trades, and ensure quality and compliance across all stages of construction.
You are required to work in different sites across Sydney.
To be a successful candidate you must have:
· Desirable Diploma in Building Construction but acceptable equivalent qualification combined with work relevant/related experience of at least two years as Site Construction Supervisor or closely related.
Responsibilities of the role include:
· Assisting Construction Managers, managing and overseeing team and other service providers such as technicians, carpenters, bricklayers, electricians etc.
· Provide on-site supervision, coordinating and managing works, and inspects buildings
· Reviewing project plans and diagrams
You are required to:
• Assist Construction Managers in developing and executing project plans
• Consulting and advising on the coordinator of work schedules
• Reviewing project plans and diagrams
• Conduction regular inspections on construction sites and materials, preparing related reports
• Managing and overseeing team and service providers and technicians, including carpenters, bricklayers, electricians etc
• Performing surveys to collect qualitative and quantitative data to assess jobs performed
• Providing on-site supervisor, coordinating and managing works, and inspecting finished buildings to check compliance
• Assessing and acting on non-compliance works
• Managing the acquisition and arrangement of essential materials and equipment, and preparing cost estimation and quotation for services identified
• Utilising onsite tools, such as measurement and documentation devices, office tools to read, collect and input date and information as well as to create plan, spreadsheets and reports.
Skills:
· Leadership and Team Management: Ability to coordinate workers, subcontractors, and trades on-site, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain productivity while ensuring everyone follows site rules and timelines.
· Knowledge of Construction Processes and Safety Compliance: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations, including compliance with Australian safety standards (WHS), building codes, and risk management practices.
· Communication and Problem-Solving: Clear communication with clients, engineers, and workers, combined with the ability to quickly resolve on-site issues, manage delays, and adapt to unexpected challenges.
To the right candidate(s) we are offering between AUD90,000 to AUD130.000 plus superannuation.
