PMO Manager
The role An experienced Program Delivery Manager is required to lead a Project Management Office (PMO) function supporting large-scale reform and transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for strengthening project and program governance, improving delivery capability, and ensuring alignment between strategic priorities and execution.
You will oversee program assurance, reporting, prioritisation, and delivery standards across a diverse portfolio of initiatives, while managing a team of project professionals and engaging closely with senior executives and key stakeholders.
This role suits a senior leader with strong PMO, governance, and transformation experience who can operate at enterprise scale, influence executive decision-making, and uplift organisational delivery maturity.
What you'll be doing
* Lead the establishment, governance and continuous improvement of a PMO supporting major reform and transformation programs
* Provide oversight, assurance and reporting across complex project and program portfolios
* Drive prioritisation of initiatives to align with strategic and operational objectives
* Strengthen project management capability through coaching, standards, frameworks and performance uplift
* Manage program assurance, risk management and escalation processes across delivery streams
* Oversee governance forums, decision-making frameworks and executive reporting
* Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on delivery progress, risks, trends and improvement opportunities
* Manage PMO workforce planning, financial resources and operational performance
* Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive-level forums
* Champion a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation and evidence-based decision-making
About you You are a senior delivery leader with deep experience managing complex programs, enterprise PMO functions and business transformation in highly regulated environments.
You'll bring:
* Extensive experience leading large-scale programs and portfolios in complex organisations
* Proven success establishing or uplifting PMO governance, assurance and delivery capability
* Strong executive stakeholder engagement, influencing and reporting skills
* Experience managing reform, transformation and strategic change initiatives
* Advanced analytical, problem-solving and performance reporting capability
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities and drive outcomes at scale
Qualifications in project, program or change management are highly regarded.
