About the Role
We are seeking expressions of interest from talented Auslan interpreters. Working from home, you would join our Video Relay Service team delivering the National Relay Service.
As an Auslan Interpreter You Will
* Deliver exceptional customer service to the Deaf, speech communication difficulty and hard of hearing communities
* Provide an efficient response to customer requests
* Maintain strict confidentiality while dealing with personal and sensitive information in an accurate and careful manner

What We Are Looking For
* Wired NBN Internet Connection – minimum download 10 mb/s+, minimum upload 10 mb/s+
* Interpreters to work min. 8 hours a week Monday‐Friday 9 am to 5 pm
* Saturday shift available 8 am to 12 noon – 25% penalty rate applies
* NAATI accredited Provisional Interpreters and Certified Interpreters
* 5+ years proven experience interpreting in a range of contexts within the Deaf community
* Understand and follow the Interpreter Code of Ethics
* Current ASLIA membership is preferable
* Be available to undertake 3 days of online training
