Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a capable, compassionate Field Service Technician to join us and make a real difference.
The Role
This field-based role is diverse and hands-on. You’ll travel to customer sites to maintain, service, and install lifting and transfer equipment. This includes not only servicing installed systems but also delivering, installing, and collecting hire equipment for short- and long-term use.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on patient lifting systems
* Diagnosing and resolving mechanical or electrical faults
* Installing equipment in residential and commercial settings
* Delivering, setting up, and collecting hire equipment for clients
* Completing service reports and compliance documentation
* Liaising with clients including aged care staff, hospital teams, disability support providers, and families
* Providing professional and respectful service, especially in sensitive environments
About You
You’re a technically skilled, self-motivated individual who enjoys variety in your day and has a strong commitment to safety and service.
We’re looking for someone with:
* Experience in a field service or technical support role
* Mechanical or electrical aptitude
* A current driver’s licence
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
* Good time management and attention to detail
* Ability to pass a police check and obtain a Working with Children Check
Highly Regarded:
* Biomedical engineering qualifications or experience
* Experience with assistive technology or medical/rehabilitation equipment
* Comfortable working in both clinical and residential environments
