Computer/Phone Repairs and Sales Technician
We are looking for a Computer/Phone Repairs and Sales Technician to assist our existing database of customers across our Sunshine Coast locations. We provide support 6 days a week to our customers and need additional staff to fill our Store Technician position ASAP.
Our focus is on the home user demographic as well as the Small Business and Enterprise Sector. Common jobs may include virus removals, Windows repairs and re-installations (Windows 11), internet and wireless issues, re installation of software, repairing hardware faults, replacing hardware, setting up new computers, sales and recommendations, network fault finding both onsite and in-house ranging from the home users all the way through to 50 computer organisations with the help of a strong Pro Computers support system and team.
Key Skills required:
* Complex problem diagnosing and resolution on Windows and Mac operating systems.
* Complex problem diagnosing and resolution on mobile devices including phones and tablets.
* Hardware repair skills on Desktops, Laptops, Phones and Tablets, including screen/battery replacements.
* Basic understanding of networking.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* STRONG communication skills both internally within the company, and externally to clients using written and oral communication methods.
* Strong time management skills.
* Strong sales skills.
* Current drivers license
* Professional attitude and work ethic and desire to deliver market-leading customer service.
Advantageous skills:
* Experience with an online ticketing system.
* Previous experience in a computer/phone repair position.
* Understanding of basic cybersecurity principals for the domestic market.
As part of the role you will be required to:
* Help resolve customers computer issues in store and potentially onsite;
* Provide a high level of customer service and offer general advice to clients;
* Source and supply any hardware or software when required;
* Collect payment for all work completed and close off jobs in our online system;
* Keep your information up-to-date in our online calendar
* Following procedures to ensure that all records are kept in our ticketing system;
* Meet sales targets set month to month;
* Educate customers in our product and service range &
* Most importantly – Deliver EXCELLENT customer service and satisfaction.
We are looking for a technician who can talk to the customer, find out what they need, and then solve their issues. The successful applicant will have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills and be strongly customer-focused.
