Production Welder Night Shift Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our team working night shifts on a major naval defence program in Osborne, SA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for undertaking various tasks and duties as directed by production supervision and trades trainers within the bounds of your current competence.
About the Role:
* Undertake tasks and duties as directed by production supervision and trades trainers within the bounds of your current competence.
* Attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required.
* Properly maintain materials, tools, and equipment.
* Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes, and effectiveness in the work area.
* Adhere to policies and management practices.
About You:
* You have experience with fabrication using MIG or flux core welding.
* You can read drawings.
* You have a strong safety focus and ability to enhance the site safety environment.
* You have strong time-keeping abilities.
* You have excellent communication skills.
Clearances:
* A Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Identity Card (NSSIC) is required for this role.
* You must have the right to work in Australia and be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearances, including NSSIC and ITAR.
