About the Role
As a Forensic or Clinical Psychologist within Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, you will play a key role in delivering evidence-based psychological care in a hospital setting. You'll work with forensic and long-term rehabilitation consumers presenting with complex interpersonal, emotional and behavioural needs; within a small psychology team.
For this position we are open to applications from Registrar Forensic/Clinical Psychologists.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting psychological assessments, diagnosis and treatment
* Developing comprehensive formulations and delivering recovery-focused interventions
* Completing cognitive and psychopathy assessments, including report writing and recommendations
* Working closely within a multidisciplinary team environment
* Supporting positive outcomes for consumers, families and carers
You'll also have the opportunity to further develop specialist skills in forensic assessment.

Requirements:
* Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate forensic or clinical psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent, displayed on the Psychology Board of Australia website.
* Generally registered as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia with area of practice endorsement in forensic or clinical psychology.
