Collaborate within a dedicated team in a unique environment as a Chef or Cook at Lone Pine Barracks (Singleton). These roles are suitable for candidates that enjoy bulk cooking with a passion for quality, flavour, and presentation. You’ll get full training and support while working in a dynamic and fun working environment.
The Position
- Prepare a variety of high-quality, buffet-style meals for all service periods, including events.
- Ensure compliance with OH&S; and HACCP regulations while focusing on waste reduction.
- Manage inventory, receive supplies, and monitor cold room controls.
- Provide excellent customer service during all kitchen-related interactions.
The Person
- Experience in a commercial kitchen, particularly in high-volume environments.
- A solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen protocols (HACCP knowledge is a plus).
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality.
- A team player with a positive attitude, reliability, and a strong desire to learn and grow.
