Reporting to the Head of Product & Strategy, this position will be pivotal in leading the development and execution of category growth strategy including technical positioning, application support and sales enablement to drive sustainable revenue growth and market share expansion.

The Responsibilities
* Proactively develop and execute category growth strategy to grow market share
* Conduct strategic market assessments, including market position, competitor analysis, and pricing reviews to develop product sales strategies.
* Identify, analyse and prioritise target industries, key accounts, and priority applications.
* Lead product lifecycle management including launches, rationalisation, and phase-outs.
* Comprehensively lead SMC category portfolio at industry forums
* Work closely with Sales Teams to develop and execute productive sales action plans for target accounts and conduct joint customer visits
* Equip sales teams with necessary tools and easy access of information to confidently position and grow the category.
* Monitor and report on sales performance, growth trends, and market penetration.
* Contribute to accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
* In collaboration with the key stakeholders develop and deliver product training programs for Sales team Customers and distribution partners.
* Support learning initiatives aligned with new product introductions and portfolio changes
* Support and develop sales capability through coaching.
You
You are a commercially driven, self-motivated leader who is passionate about making an impact. You thrive on identifying opportunities and executing strategies that accelerate market share growth, and are energised by delivering measurable results in a dynamic environment. This opportunity will strongly align with your drive to deliver meaningful business outcomes.
* Minimum 5–8 years' experience in product management, category management, technical sales, or related commercial roles within industrial, automation, or technical B2B markets. Including lifecycle management, product launches, and rationalisation activities.
* Strong understanding of pneumatics, instrumentation, automation systems, and industrial applications, including how products integrate into customer solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and market trends into commercial product strategies and including pricing and portfolio decisions
* Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to analyse market, pricing structures, competitive positioning, and profitability drivers.
* Experience in developing category strategies, including revenue growth plans, margin improvement initiatives, forecasting and market expansion opportunities.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to represent the company as a product and application expert to internal teams, customers, and partners including c-suite and industry events.
* Strong analytical capability to evaluate product performance, sales trends, and market opportunities to guide business decisions.
* Experience supporting sales teams with product positioning, value propositions, and competitive different.
* Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand product specifications, application requirements, and system integration considerations.
* Proficient in CRM systems, product information systems, and ERP platforms (preferred), with the ability to leverage data for commercial decision-making.
* Willingness to travel as required to support customers, sales teams, training activities, and market development initiatives.
