Our client, a highly notable Property Developer and Construction company, seeking a Senior Contract Administrator with a passion for producing great products and contributing to their successful team.
The Role
1. Assessment and preparation of progress claims, variation claims, and extensions of time
2. Preparation and issuance of tender packages
3. Preparation and monitoring of project construction programs
4. Negotiation and preparation of contracts for award
5. Management of payment claims including the development and implementation of payment processes to ensure all claims and payment schedules meet relevant legislation timeframes
6. Review and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and projections in conjunction with the project managers
7. Providing support to Project Managers as required
8. DA approvals and implementation of feasibilities/ costings
Experience Required:
9. Tertiary qualification in Construction Management / Building / Engineering or equivalent highly regarded.
10. Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience working in a CA role.
11. Strong attention to detail and proven communication skills.
12. Previous experience working on commercial projects.
13. Proven commercial construction industry experience.
14. Expertise in effectively managing and administering both the head contract and subcontracts throughout all phases of a project including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, subcontract management, claims/variation processing, completion, and close out.
15. Strong negotiating skills to implement contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to satisfy budgets, quality, safety, and time requirements.
Skills & Requirements:
16. Tertiary qualification in Construction Management / Building / Engineering or equivalent highly regarded.
17. Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience working in a CA role.
18. Experience working on residential developments and commercial fit-outs
19. High attention to detail
20. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
