As an Enrolled nurse, you'll play an important role in delivering a range of services—from acute, chronic, community care to emergency support—while being supported through training and teamwork.

The Role
The Enrolled Nurse provides direct patient/client centred nursing care to assigned patients/clients, within the scope of practice of an enrolled nurse and under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife to achieve planned patient outcomes.
You will
Provide patient care across both Residential Aged Care Facility and Rural Health Beds.
Work effectively within a small, multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Have excellent communication skills.

Details of appointment
Permanent full time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary and benefits
Salary: $70,980 to $78,179 per annum.
Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary packaging: benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, and other benefits if eligible.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455 - $105,995 is subject to progression to Grade 4.
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type.
District Allowances up to $4,618 per annum for a family.
Remote and Rural Professional Development Allowance of $3,699 per annum and an additional salary allowance of 10%.

A range of leave entitlements, including study leave and Professional Development Support.
Fitness Passport – access to 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for $13.95 per week per person, or $25.95 for a family.

Eligibility and requirements
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (holds a Board-approved qualification in administration of medicines).
