**Join the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) as a Payroll Supervisor**
**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:
- Lead a team of Payroll Advisors, overseeing three pay runs every fortnight.
- Act as the escalation point for payroll-related queries and transactions.
- Work with our outsourced payroll provider to resolve system defects and ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Stay updated on Enterprise Agreement and legislative changes to ensure payroll compliance.
- Support the build of a new Enterprise Agreement and continuously improve payroll processes.
- Conduct system testing to ensure payroll platform accuracy and functionality.
- Prepare workforce communications and lead training initiatives to enhance system knowledge and functionality.
**Skills & Capabilities**:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll systems and processes.
- Leadership and customer service orientation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and a well-organized approach.
**Qualifications & Experience (Highly Regarded)**:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in payroll award builds or reconfigurations.
- Background in software testing methodologies and test plans.
- Expertise in interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Proficiency in identifying, reporting, and resolving system issues.
