Job Title:
School Grounds Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining the school grounds and gardens in a tidy condition.
* Providing a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management.
* Performing minor repairs and maintenance as requested, along with other duties in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
* Supervising tasks performed by junior staff members and providing guidance to senior administrators on school grounds maintenance.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills to maintain accurate gardening records and manage staff performance.
* Strong leadership skills to supervise tasks performed by junior staff members and provide guidance to senior administrators on school grounds maintenance.
* A genuine passion for the outdoors and ability to lead staff in creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable outdoor environment for staff, students, and the community.
Eligibility requirements include obtaining a valid Working With Children Check and being an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or having a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
