Mentored by the local Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining existing direct & distribution customer relationships whilst developing new business opportunities with potential customers.

The Responsibilities
* Proactively develop and execute call plans to achieve sales targets
* Execute productive sales action plans for target accounts and conduct joint customer visits with the product & strategy team
* Leverage tools and information to confidently position and grow the category.
* Monitor and report on sales performance, growth trends, and market penetration.
* Contribute to accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
* Participate in learning initiatives aligned with new product introductions and portfolio changes
* Further develop and strengthen sales capability through continuous learning

* Tertiary qualifications in engineering essential, in either Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation.
* 5 years in technical field sales with electrical or mechanical engineered products
* Strong understanding of pneumatic control, instrumentation, and product applications
* Proven track record in business development and solution-oriented selling
* Experience in customer negotiations, including senior-level stakeholders
* Previous exposure to systems
* Ability to operate in a global, fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing/technology business
* Strong commercial and financial understanding to interpret market data and opportunities
* Strong relationship-building, customer service, and networking capabilities
* Experience developing executive-level and C-suite relationships
* Excellent negotiation, influencing, and business development skills
* Hold a current drivers license
* Must have unrestricted work rights
* Client relationships in industries across red meat, OEM, food and beverage, pulp & paper, building products, water resources, automotive, general manufacturing & engineering.
* CRM software package experience and administrative discipline highly regarded
