Our client, a leader in the Australian metal recycling industry, is seeking a confident and reliable Yard Coordinator to join their team in Kwinana Beach.
This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth yard operations, safe traffic flow, and quality customer service.
About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for:
* Coordinating vehicle movements and traffic control within the yard
* Grading incoming metal loads
* Communicating with machine operators via two-way radio
* Providing professional and positive customer service
* Using a mobile device/application to process and record load details
* Supporting safe and efficient daily yard operations
Requirements
* Valid Forklift Licence (Essential)
* Strong verbal communication skills
* Confident using two-way radios
* Basic computer skills (comfortable using mobile apps/devices)
* Ability to work in a busy outdoor industrial environment
* Previous yard, recycling, logistics or industrial experience highly regarded
* Machine operating experience advantageous but not required
