About the role
Greater Brisbane Home Care is looking for caring and reliable individuals to assist seniors in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, and social support. If you have a passion for helping others and a positive attitude, we will provide the necessary training to support you in this role.
Responsibilities
* Ability to travel and support our locations across Brisbane Northside
* Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients.
* Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
* Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities.
* Encourage independence and well‐being in a home environment.
Qualifications
* A current driver's licence and a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes. Reimbursement of $0.96 per km is provided for use of own vehicle.
* A qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support
* A National Police Check.
* Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor.
