**Background**
The implementation of the Government Act and Support in line with the Australian Government commitment will commence from 1 July 2025.
A staged digital implementation approach has been identified, which will include some off-system (manual) processes. This requires temporary additional data remediation, case processing and data analysis/reporting capacity within the Department to accommodate the anticipated volume of work.
**Key Duties**
- Working with APS staff to support with data remediation incidents/defects for the Home Care Packages Program using established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Administering data remediation and complete case processing of the records and/or processes.
- Supporting older people to engage supported decision-makers in line with the human rights-based framework of the new Aged Care Act.
- Allocation of funding packages to older people on prioritisation systems for Home Care Packages and Support at Home.
- Manual remediation of any provider caseloads or client records impacted by the transition.
- Supporting any off-system communication campaigns or contract management activity.
- Investigating data issues as identified from other support channels (e.g., contact centre, branch mailboxes, direct etc)
- Staff will be creating / amending user access (in both GPMS and Siebel), Updating organisation/outlet information, Crosschecking information between spreadsheets/templates and the system & Other data remediation as required.
- Keeping accurate, concise and clear records of processing actions taken.
- Preparing and sending client correspondence and/or preparing correspondence files for vendor distribution.
- Liaising with client service channels as required on individual client record issues.Updating client records and cross-checking accuracy of records across systems.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in data entry, data analysis, and/or service delivery sectors.
- Attention to detail: Robust attention to detail to ensure data is entered correctly and consistently with a focus on minimising errors.
- Problem solving-skills: Experience in identifying and resolving data discrepancies and issues promptly.
- Communication and collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with our APS staff and stakeholders with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience and knowledge of working in client relationship management systems, such as Siebel.
- Direct experience with the My Aged Care (MAC) Gateway system and/or related portals will be highly regarded.
