About the role
TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in Electrotechnology to join our team of Offsite Markers on a casual basis.
The Offsite Marker is responsible for providing marking of assignments and assessment tasks, and constructive feedback for TAFE Digital's distance education students. These roles are flexible, don't require you to attend a campus, and marking can be done anytime that works for you
About You
To be considered for this position, you will hold :
* Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent.
* Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
* Be prepared to continue to develop your Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency and trainer / assessor competence.
* Diploma of Electrical Engineering or Higher.
Desirable to hold :
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and a NSW Qualified Supervisor's Certificate - Electrical (Electrician's Licence)
In addition, the courses offered, and off-site markers required for units within :
* UEE21920 – Certificate II in Electronics
* UEE22020 – Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start)
* UEE30820 – Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
* UEE50420 – Diploma of Electrical Engineering
