**About the role**:
We are currently looking for a team of reliable and dedicated Support Workers to support our clients in the **Tweed Heads and Lismore**
We want to provide a safe & loving environment. We are looking for a range of youth workers with a background in first aid mental health, and/or disability support. As an integral part of our team, you'll be encouraged to utilise your passion and skills to support our clients to grow, develop, heal and feel empowered. **About You**:
- Preferred experience in mental health.
**Skills Required**:
- High level of administrative skills.
- Experience in suicide prevention.
- Mental health first aid certification.
**Essential requirements**:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Employee - Working with Children's Check
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks
- A valid Australian driver's license with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- A current certification in Trauma Informed Care (desirable)
- Youth Mental Health First Aid (Highly desirable)
**Responsibilities**:
Document Management:
- All required documents must be added to the NH internal system.
- Ensure compliance with all documentation requirements
Referrals:
- Handle referrals from Primary Health Networks (PHNs).
- Respond to referrals within 24 hours.
- Review and act on discharge summaries received.
- Make contact with clients based on discharge summaries.
Client Support:
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans.
- Provide weekly support, including working with risk assessments and safety planning.
- Link clients with appropriate services.
- Must demonstrate empathy and adaptability

Pay: $40.00 - $80.00 per hour
