Permanent full-time opportunity

Salary Package $91,081.24 – $100,536.00 (includes base salary $80,246 - $88,576 per annum) plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

The Facilities Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive facilities and asset management services to the Coffs Harbour Education Campus. The role liaises with contracted service providers and directly performs a range of activities including minor maintenance and repairs, security access, emergency response, stock control, distribution and systems administration, to ensure high standards of amenity, customer service, safety and compliance are achieved and maintained.

About You

We are looking for a driven, proactive and self-motivated Facilities Officer with demonstrated experience in applying knowledge of property, building or trades related industry to liaise with contractors, monitor work standards and compliance and perform minor maintenance tasks.

You have excellent organisational and administrative skills, a can-do positive attitude, and are self-directed and accountable. You enjoy building trusting relationships, collaborating with your team and taking initiative.

In addition to the above you will have:

* Certificate IV in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience in the facilities management field.
* Minimum class C drivers licence, and a forklift licence or willingness and ability to obtain one; and willingness to update licences/certifications and undertake essential training as required.

Highly Desirable

* Forklift licence
* Project management qualifications or experience
* Contractor management Experience
* Current First Aid certificate
* Experience working within the education industry
