About The Roles
In this role, you'll be part of a team of operators that are responsible for operating machinery to ensure material is produced to the commercial standard, identifying and reporting faults, and working in a safe manner.
Work schedule: 24/5 – 8‐hour weekday shifts, no weekends/public holidays or 24/7 – 12‐hour rotating shifts, includes weekends/public holidays.
Responsibilities
* Engage the team to ensure the delivery of safe, low‐cost, efficient, and high‐quality production.
* Deliver on production KPIs.
* Ensure appropriate communication and feedback is in place, including technical review and recommendation of machine/site running conditions.
* Complete routine maintenance tasks such as high‐pressure cleaning, removal of waste material from pits, channels, and vessels.
* Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, including shovelling, sweeping, painting and vacuuming.
* Test operation of machines periodically and fix issues that might occur during the shift.
* Maintain activity logs and carry out quality inspections.
About You
* Hands‐on experience in manufacturing environments.
* Proven capacity to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
* Demonstrated aptitude for problem‐solving.
* Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
* Strong computer skills.
* Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations, including consistent use of protective equipment.
* Excellent physical endurance and strength.
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical education background preferred.
* Capability to operate a forklift – not essential.
