About the Position
With our Operations Team needing to expand - an exciting role has arisen for an experienced Panel Builder to join the team and commence work shortly.
Based at our Pakenham Depot, you are responsible for assembling and wiring our bespoke control panels for our Operations Team our Pakenham facility. With focus on team culture, attention to detail, quality of works, ability to work with multiple trade disciplines, continuous improvement and most importantly - safe work practices.
About You
You are an experienced Panel Builder. You are hands on, with the capability to go the extra mile to provide a quality product while being time efficient. You will lead by example and able to engage and influence those around you. You are well organised, plan for success and able to provide support within the entire Operations Team. You prioritise safety, quality, and team culture. You are passionate about what you do and look to always deliver great outcomes, whilst identifying areas for continuous improvement. You are able to navigate electrical schematics and GAs and apply even levels of attention to both the practical and organisational aspects of your day-to-day tasks. (housekeeping, stock management, following procedures and processes etc.)
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
* Relevant industry experience with a drive to learn our processes.
* Competence using power tools and hand tools.
* Proficiency in all aspects of electrical works with the ability to read, interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
* The ability to demonstrate strong safety, quality, and efficiency skills.
* Component and electrical parts knowledge desirable.
* PLC IO wiring knowledge is desirable.
* Assemble and wire control panels according to design drawings and schematics.
* High level of communication skills to internal and external customers.
* Stock management skills, min/max stock process
* Strong skills acquired from on-the-job experience
Desirable skills and knowledge
* Production line style installation experience.

Works are commencing late April/Early May
The remuneration package on offer will be commensurate with demonstrated skills and experience.
