OverviewRichmond Henty is on the hunt for a Cook to join our kitchen dedicated, hard working kitchen team.About the RoleReporting directly to the Head Chef you will be responsible for daily kitchen operations which include cooking and preparing meals, maintaining a clean kitchen and working within all Food Safety Program and Occupational Health and Safety Guidelines.QualificationsMust have minimum 2 years' experienceAttained food handler's certificationKnowledge and food safety requirements is an advantageThe successful candidate will be able to display: Experience working in a large pub / bistro style kitchen Positive attitude, strong communication skills and motivated work ethic Ability to understand and comply with internal food policies and procedures and consistently meet expected food quality standards Understanding of best practise food and handling requirementsTasks & Duties Baking, butchering and food preparation duties Supervising cooks, chefs and other kitchen staff on lower grades Ordering and stock control Following foods safety and HACCP guidelines Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulationsAward rates to commensurate experience will be offered to the right person.
