As a Lecturer in English at the University of Melbourne, you'll take the lead in coordinating ENGL 20022: Modernism and Avant Garde. You'll have the opportunity to shape students' understanding of these influential literary movements, develop innovative curriculum, and contribute to cutting-edge research in the field. Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead Subject Coordination: Oversee ENGL 20022: Modernism and Avant Garde, including curriculum design, teaching delivery, and supervision of sessional tutors.
* Deliver Engaging Teaching: Prepare and deliver lectures and seminars that cater to a diverse student cohort, promoting scholarly inquiry and critical thinking.
* Contribute to Academic Leadership: Engage in service roles within the School or Faculty and participate in continuing professional development activities.

You are a passionate scholar of Modernism and Avant Garde literature, with a strong commitment to innovative teaching and research, and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse student cohort.
You may also:
* Hold a PhD in English Literature or a closely related field.
* Have experience in teaching Modernist literature at university level.
* Demonstrate a track record of high-quality publications in your field.
* Possess excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse student cohorts.
* Show a commitment to fostering an inclusive academic environment.
* Have experience in curriculum design and innovation.
