About the Role
As a Residential Care Worker at Kanda, you'll provide practical support, guidance and care to young people experiencing vulnerability. You'll help them build life skills, confidence and independence while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
What You'll Be Doing
* Provide hands-on care and guidance in a safe, supportive home environment
* Support young people to achieve their individual goals through personalised care plans
* Assist with daily living activities, education, self-care and recreation
* Build strong, trusting relationships grounded in encouragement, consistency and emotional safety
* Maintain accurate, professional documentation to support quality care

What You'll Need
* A current driver's licence (minimum P2)
* A Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or eligibility to obtain them)
* Either hold, or be willing to enrol in, a Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant field
* Previous experience (youth work, disability, mental health, aged care, childcare) is helpful but not required - your commitment to learning is what matters.
