About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in a busy working environment.
You will be responsible for managing weekly payrolls for approximately 1000 employees, handling and resolving payroll queries, and processing payroll adjustments.
You will also be required to set up new starters, process termination payments, reconcile workers' compensation, and update employee details and changes.
A key part of this role is month-end reporting and reconciliations, as well as assisting the Payroll manager with ongoing projects concerning system/process/procedure improvement.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in payroll management, ideally within a full function/end-to-end capacity.
Candidates should have knowledge and understanding of Australian employment law and interpreting Awards & EBAs.
Previous experience in high-volume payroll processing, exposure to large payroll systems, and strong communication skills are essential.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are must-haves for this position.
