The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for transportation scheduling of the Recycling Company Fleet and linehaul / metro haulage services in order to maintain a high standard of service delivery whilst adhering to company policies and processes.
The Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for managing stock procurement (for both supply collected arrangements and return of own stock held at third party sites).

- Fielding enquiries within SLAs
- Providing first call resolution whilst addressing customer expectations
- VR Fleet Driver progress for checks to ensure the correct status is recorded against each service in a timely manner
- Master and daily schedule management to achieve service outcomes and manage fleet capacity
- Monitoring Visy stock levels at third party sites (3PP) to ensure all stock is correctly accounted for and returned in a timely manner
- Booking freight for both supply collected arrangements and return of own stock held at third party sites
- Monitoring progress of logistics execution and resolving issues
- Clearly communicating with all stakeholders to ensure operational delivery

- ETA and status requests for existing bookings
- New or changed permanent service scheduling requests
- Urgent service prioritisation
- Booking changes or cancellations
- Re-booking commitment and feedback (to facilitate issue resolution) for missed services
- Responding to requests regarding site access requirements
VR Fleet Driver progress for checks to ensure the correct status is recorded against each service in a timely manner
- Maintain and monitor estimated start and finish times for each sub-route
- Communicate with Fleet Manager to proactively identify any issues such as trucks off the road or driver absence
- Monitor subroute progress including services in 'Not Started' and 'Missed' status throughout the expected run time of each subroute. Follow-up any potential issues with the driver (do they have time to get to x jobs in x time remaining?) to proactively address potential service issues
- Ensure driver runsheet is in 'Submitted' status at subroute end time
- Refer driver performance issues to the Fleet Manager for follow-up
- Manage unallocated services (allocate to the appropriate subroute)
- Undertake bulk rescheduling in the event of capacity constraints such as absent driver or truck off the road
- Maintain sequencing for each subroute for each day to ensure fleet efficiency and provide required service coverage
