Gore Earthmoving is seeking an experienced and motivated Earthmoving Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in the field, leads by example, and takes pride in delivering high‐quality projects safely and efficiently.
About the Role:
As an Earthmoving Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day‐to‐day site operations while actively operating machinery. You will coordinate crews, manage project timelines, and ensure all work is completed to company and client standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate earthmoving crews on‐site
* Operate a range of machinery as required (excavators, scrapers, graders, dozers, etc.)
* Manage project schedules, resources, and workflow
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
* Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
* Monitor site progress and troubleshoot issues as they arise
* Proven experience in the earthmoving or civil construction industry
* Strong hands‐on machinery operating skills
* Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and run projects
* Relevant tickets and licences for machinery operation
* Sound understanding of WHS requirementsStrong work ethic and leadership skills
* Experience in project planning and reporting
* HR licence (or higher)
