* About the Job:
This is a sales and marketing leadership role for a hotel in Adelaide, Australia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue goals and drive room night sales.
The successful candidate will lead a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. They will work closely with the hotel's General Manager and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with the InterContinental brand and IHG initiatives.
Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, elevating the visibility and reputation of the brand through innovative marketing campaigns and strategic partnerships, leading and mentoring the sales and marketing team, and ensuring alignment with brand standards and owner expectations.
Additional responsibilities include managing digital and social media best practices, consulting on optimized hotel marketing content, and ensuring integrated use of new and existing IHG tools, platforms, and systems.
The role requires strong business acumen and commercially savvy skills, with the ability to manage budgets effectively to achieve ROI for sales and marketing activities. Experience in Opera and Concerto is preferred.
