We're now looking for a friendly, professional Optical Assistant to join our team in a part-time role.
About The Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will:
* Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism.
* Coordinate appointments and handle phone enquiries confidently.
* Assist with invoices, banking, and general office duties.
* Work with our Practice Management Software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Collaborate with the team to provide tailored eyewear solutions.
* Uphold the values and culture of our practice in every interaction.
Hours - Monday, Thursday and Friday
Who We're Looking For
Experience in a similar role, ideally within the medical or optical field.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident with computer systems and quick to learn new software.
Reception experience (medical reception highly regarded).
Availability for Saturday mornings and flexibility for additional hours when required.
A genuine dedication to putting patients first and going the extra mile.
