Remote Area Nurse Opportunity
This is a unique chance to make a real difference in the lives of people living in some of Australia's most remote and culturally rich communities.
As a Remote Area Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering primary health care services, including emergency response, chronic disease management, and child and maternal health services.
* Collaborate closely with Aboriginal Health Workers, GPs, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
* Participate in outreach services and health promotion initiatives that improve the health and wellbeing of Indigenous communities.
* Provide culturally safe and trauma-informed care that respects the dignity and autonomy of patients.
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Remote Area Nursing.
* Demonstrated skills in acute care, chronic disease management, and immunisation.
* Endorsement in REC/ ALS/ MEC / PALS / Imms or equivalent.
* Experience using Communicare or similar software systems.
* Cultural awareness and experience working with First Nation communities.
* Competitive salary inclusive of superannuation.

* Flexible contracts ranging from 4 to 12 weeks.
