The Opportunity
Our Lysaght business is looking for Warehouse Team Members to join the team at our Emu Plains site. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
No previous operations or manufacturing experience? No problem — we provide comprehensive on-the-job training and ongoing support to help you build a long-term career with us.
We are excited to offer multiple permanent Warehouse Team Member opportunities across both Day Shift and Afternoon Shift. Our team members come from all walks of life and occupations, and we genuinely value the contribution of each person, bringing diverse skills, experiences, and backgrounds. Whether you\'re an early starter or prefer working at a later time, we offer flexibility to suit your lifestyle and help you balance work and family commitments. With Monday to Friday shifts, your weekends are all yours.
* Day shift - 6am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday
* Afternoon shift - 2pm to 10.30pm, Monday to Friday
These opportunities include a competitive hourly rate starting from $31.62 per hour, with Afternoon Shift attracting an additional 15% shift loading allowance on top of the base rate. You'll also have opportunities for overtime and be eligible to receive quarterly performance bonuses paid on a quarterly basis .
What Will You Do?
Being in a key role that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality of our products, you will:
* support and promote a safe working environment
* operate machinery to process and manufacture our products
* safely pack and strap our steel products and monitor products for quality control
* perform machinery maintenance and cleaning
* operate forklifts and cranes (full training provided if you don't already have experience)
