The Opportunity
As a Graduate Mining Surveyor, you will support the safe and efficient delivery of mining operations through accurate measurement, mapping, and spatial control of the site. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will develop practical capability in surface surveying, geospatial data capture, and spatial analysis that inform operational decision-making.
You will contribute to ensuring mining activities are executed in accordance with approved designs, maintain accurate inventory reconciliation within the pit and across external stockpiles, and assist in maintaining reliable site layouts, including road networks and infrastructure. Throughout the role, you will gain hands-on experience using a variety of modern surveying tools and technologies while supporting the development of digital mine models.
The Program
As part of the 2027 Mineral Resources Graduate Program, you will have the opportunity to kick-start your professional career with one of Australia's fastest-growing mining companies.
The two-year program will challenge your thinking across a range of business functions, each offering immediate exposure to large-scale projects.
Exposure to different commodities and services including Iron Ore and Lithium, including other potential future projects.
Your program commences at Head Office with the remainder of your opportunity site based on our Mineral Resources operated sites.
Ongoing support from dedicated Program Mentors and committed leaders will position you to grow a successful career in mining.
Requirements for the Role
* Graduated with a bachelor of Geomatics or Surveying by the end of 2026, or have graduated from a recognised University within the past 12 months.
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold unlimited working rights at the time of application.
* Have availability to commence full-time employment at the end of February 2027.
* Must be based in WA or willing to relocate.
